With all that’s going on today in the world, we have lots to be afraid of. From terrorist attacks to your significant other cheating on you, all of these create a fear in Americans, some more than others. So, what does the average American fear the most? A global warming, a robber, or not having enough money for the future? What are Americans most afraid of, today? The Chapman University Survey of American Fears Wave 3 (2016) gives a look into what the average American of today fears the most. A random sample was taken of 1,511 adults from all the United States. The surveyed were asked their level of fear for about 79 different types of fears with including subjects like crime, government, disasters, personal fears, technology, etc. Can you guess which are American’s Top 10 Fears?
