A man in San Joaquin County, California used the suspects’ gun against them in a Saturday morning attempted robbery. The incident happened this past Saturday on Dec. 23. Fox 40 for Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto, published a story about the incident.
The man lives in a home with his parents. His parents are both elderly. The home is located along Eastbound Highway 26 near North Pinasco Rd. This past Saturday morning, the victim woke to find two home invaders striking him with a pole.
The home invaders, a male and a female, demanded that the victim give them money. Per the San Joaquin County Sherriff’s Office, one of the suspects pulled out a gun. The victim began to fight with both suspects.
During the struggle, the victim managed to wrestle away the firearm. The victim then shot the female suspect in the leg. Upon arriving, San Joaquin County deputies arrested both suspects. Deputies then located the suspects’ getaway car. In the vehicle, deputies found a sawed-off shotgun.
Both suspects, 27-year-old Joshua Keamohuli and 34-year-old Alicia Agundez, have been charged on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Both have also been charged with conspiracy, and home invasion robbery. In addition, Keamohuli and Agundez face multiple weapons charges.
