The residence is located on the 2100 block of Willona Dr. 44-year-old Ammond Lutz lives at the residence with his three teenage children. At around 4:00 am on March 24, Lutz’s three children woke him to say that someone was in the garage.
Lutz grabbed his firearm. He went to the garage to investigate. After entering, Lutz discovered 22-year-old Ryan Best and 21-year-old Arcelia Vasquez-Smith. He immediately demanded that both Best and Vasquez-Smith get onto the ground.
Lutz trained his weapon on the pair while waiting for police to arrive.
