A suspect went on a burglary spree in Denver in the early morning on Tuesday, April 3. ABC 7 in Denver published a story about the incident on their site.
The incident happened at around 6:30 am on April 3. The burglary suspect is alleged to have broken into several businesses and homes located in the 1500 block of Blake Street. While breaking into one of the homes, an armed resident fired at the suspect.
The suspect wasn’t harmed. Per Denver Police, the resident said that the suspect was armed with a knife. Police haven’t yet identified either the resident that shot at the suspected burglar, or the suspected burglar.
Police did say that the suspect attempted to enter two nearby apartments after entering burglarizing the businesses. Both apartments were occupied at the time. Only one resident in one of the apartments shot at the suspect.
