A victim of a possible attempted robbery returned fire on his suspects this past Saturday night on Nov. 11. MLive.com posted a story about the incident on their website.
The incident happened in Flint, Michigan at around 9:00 pm this past Saturday. The victim was walking in the 1500 block of Berrywood Lane. Berrywood Lane is between Hargot Ave. and Chestbrook Lane. Two males wearing dark clothing approached the victim.
After words were exchanged one of the suspects pulled a firearm. The suspect shot at the victim as both suspects fled. The victim pulled out his own firearm. The victim returned fire.
On Sunday, Flint Police Department Det. Tyrone Booth said, “The victim did discharge the firearm that he legally carried.”
Det. Booth also said, “We only have one victim at this time.”
Neither Booth nor anyone else with the police have released any more information. The Flint Police Department is asking that anyone with information call the police at 810-237-5800.
