A woman shot and killed a man this past Wednesday on December 13. The incident happened in South Fulton County, Georgia. WSB in Atlanta posted a story about the incident.
The incident happened at the Evergreen Commons Apartment in Union City. The apartments are located at Union City along Highway138. Police arrived at the apartments to find that a man had been shot. Before Union City Police could airlift the man to a hospital, the man died due to the gunshot wound.
Although police haven’t said if the female that shot the man will be charged, residents at the Evergreen Common Apartments believe the female might have shot in self-defense. The deceased man was well over 6 feet tall. He also weighed over 300 pounds.
“That was a big ole man,” neighbor Maureen Jordan said. “It could have been self-defense.”
Police did state that the incident appears to have been due to a domestic dispute. “I just found out it was a domestic violence, that he had asked her to leave, but from there just went out of control,” Jordan said to Steve Ghelbach, WSB’s on site reporter.
Union City Police have not stated if they’re going to charge the female with killing the man.
